Hello Blogger World! What a huge world this is full of talented people of which I became a part today yet the vastness does not scare me because I just realise, this techno-world is a global village.
Yes, we all are connected and just realising that reaching out to anybody is just a click away fills me with a sense of awe. I wasn't somebody who could ever run a blog. Major reason: laziness. Also, I never wanted to make my work public and interacting with strangers scared me.
I used to be a shy, quiet writer who would always observe people around, feel the emotions, live the situation, think and reflect over it in solitude and then pen it down at midnight, when the whole world is quiet and asleep.
I started writing at 12 more like a hobby than anything but gradually, writing started becoming a passion and it moulded its way into being a therapy for me. Now, I see it as my refuge when I am disturbed and depressed from the world, I see it as my weapon when I want to make myself stronger, I see it as a therapy when I want to calm myself and assuage my pain or vent out my pent up feelings.
Recently, after joining wattpad ( you can find my poetry on wattpad at Poetic Hours ) it made me realise writing is a channel through which I can communicate with people, tell them through my words what I can't otherwise in person. I see it as an opportunity to change the world. Just the feeling of knowing that your words can make an impact on somebody's mind or change their life even in the slightest way is the best inspiration for a writer. For me, another big inspiration comes from people's reflection on my work. Whether its their constructive criticism or sweet compliments, it all makes my day and prompts me to write more and more.
The need to have a blog escalated in the past few months when I developed a new interest of photography. I honestly don't classify myself as a good photographer, I guess not even average. I just started and there is alot to learn. (If you have photography tips on your blogs, do post the links in the comments below) The love of photogtaphy began when gardening became one of my favourite hobbies. I absolutely love plants and can go on gazing and admiring them for hours. I realise there is so much of beauty in nature if only one can see it. I wanted to capture that beauty and keep it with me for life and so I decided to become an amateur nature photographer.
So here I am, finally on blogger, broadening my horizons because I want to explore and connect with as many people as I can, changing lives, making impacts or just creating a sense of wonder in them. Through my blogs, I will try to be totally honest with you and keep it as genuine as I can, posting all my thoughts, poetries and photos here. As I am new here, I am still learning how this site works and I'd be really glad if you all help me out and motivate me here.
Now its your turn, tell me why you decided to be a blogger and what inspires you to write in the comments below👇 I'd be really glad to hear from you. Also, as I want to discover and connect with people, you can upload links of your blogs here in the comments for me to check out.
Midnight thoughts over for today!
With all the love~
